Sopwith Pup – 31in wingspan

$8.00

The Sopwith Pup was reported to be one of the most nimble and  pleasant-to-fly fighter aircraft of World War 1.  Like its full sized namesake, this small-field lightweight RC model of the Pup is both nimble and a pleasure to fly.   This is a true scale model designed in the classic stick and tissue manner, which results in a very light wing loading and responsive flght characteristcs.  It’s a lot of fun to toss this model around the sky at a very realistic flight speed.  With a 30 inch wingspan, it’s big enough to fly and see well, yet small enough to transport easily in smaller vehicles.  Another great flying  small-field electric RC flyer!

Description

Designed by noted sport and scale model airplane designer Tom Nallen, this black and white plan includes full-sized top, side and front views of all components such that they can be built directly over the plan.  Stick and sheet balsa stock dimensions are indicated on the plan and all sheet balsa parts are printed full-size for use as templates in cutting out accurate parts to construct the model framework.  This is an Intermediate/advanced-level model to build and fly and is a good follow-on to a monoplane park flyer RC model.

Model construction plan fits on a single Architectural E (36×48 inches)  sheet.  Plan download and print options available.
