Laird Super Solution Peerless – 10.5 in wingspan

$4.00

Peerless published this plan in 1934, just after Jimmy Doolittle set the coast to coast speed record in the Bendix Trophy race with the Laird Super Solution.  It’s still one of the most accurate scale model plans of the Super Solution ever done.
This is an advanced skill-level stick & tissue rubber powered flying scale model.  Move rear rubber peg up to just behind former F1 on fuselage side view and reinforce the Landing Gear attachment to the fuselage (see Tom Nallen Skiptown Tiger for example).  Fit removable noseblock/noseplug assembly and a modern 6 in plastic prop with 1 loop of 1/8 Tan rubber 15 inches long to start flight trimming.  This plan will scale up nicely for a larger model.

Qualifies to fly in FAC  Thompson Trophy mass launch, FAC Scale and FAC Golden Age Biplane  events.
