Curtiss Helldiver – Vultee Attack combo plan

Golden Age Reproductions Plans service offered several of these “combo” plans with two model plans on one sheet. This is one of their best and it’s a great value. The Helldiver is a Dime Scale model, while the Vultee Attack model now qualifies for Simplified Scale events (It once was a Dimer long ago).
The Vultee is a good beginner low-wing stick & tissue rubber powered flying scale model. It has proven to be a great flyer. The Helldiver, being a biplane is a bit more advanced, but will fly well if built straight and true. Move the rear rubber peg support to just aft of the upright at former 5 on the Helldiver. The Vultee is fine as is, but you may want to draw a wing saddle and centersection and build the wing in one piece. We suggest a 6 inch plastic props with 1 loop of 1/8 Tan rubber 2o inches long to start flight trimming.
Qualifies to fly in FAC Dime Scale and FAC Simplified Scale events.
