Aeromarine Klemm GHQ – 24 in wingspan

$5.00

NOTE: There is some photographic distortion in the preview at left – the plan is perfect!

This is a beginners skill-level stick & tissue rubber powered free flight scale  model.  Flying Aces Club (FAC) co-founder Dave Stott built this model with some modifications and proclaimed it an excellent flyer, equal to many Embryo Endurance models.  Dave’s modifications were a one piece wing with a slightly thinned wing rib section at R1-R3, a one-piece stablizer mounted ontop of the upper longeron, and a rear motor peg mounted in a  1/16 x 3/8 balsa strip  cemented to the backside of the fuselage upright at F-7.  built per the plan, but with an aluminum tube rubber peg installed in a 1/16 x 3/8 balsa strip cemented behind the fuselage upright midway between the wing trailing edge and the tail.   Dave finished his Klemm in the color scheme of the Blotka 2 restoration at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in upstate New York, USA.

Qualifies to fly in FAC Scale and Simplified Scale events.
