Pesco Special Peerless – 10.5 in wingspan

$4.00

Peerless published this plan in 1938, the same year Roscoe Turner won the Thompson Trophy race with the Laird-Turner Pesco Special.  It’s still one of the most accurate scale model plans of the Pesco Special ever done.
This is an advanced skill-level stick & tissue rubber powered flying scale model.  Move rear rubber peg up to just behind former 6B on fuselage side view and reinforce the Landing Gear attachment to the fuselage (see Tom Nallen Skiptown Tiger for example).  Fit removable noseblock/noseplug assembly and a modern 6 in plastic prop with 1 loop of 1/8 Tan rubber 15 inches long to start flight trimming.  This plan will scale up nicely for a larger model.

Qualifies to fly in FAC  Thompson Trophy mass launch, FAC Scale and FAC Golden Age Monoplane  events.
