Peerless Junior Endurance – 18 in wingspan

$5.00

NOTE: There is some photographic distortion in the preview at left – the plan is perfect!

This is a beginners skill-level stick & tissue rubber powered sport and endurance model.  It is an excellent flyer built per the plan, but with an aluminum tube rubber peg installed in a 1/16 x 3/8 balsa strip cemented behind the fuselage upright midway between the wing trailing edge and the tail.   This model makes an excellent FAC Embryo Endurance model – a Junior Endurance won the first provisional Embryo Endurance event at the AMA Nats in the mid-1970’s.  While the plan states 18 inch wingspan and 47.8 sq in. wing area, clip the rounded wingtips off of the wing plan to qualify for the FAC Embryo event.  And don’t forget to add wheel pants, exhaust and an open cockpit with simple windscreen if you want to get all Embryo bonus points!

Qualifies to fly in FAC Sport and FAC Embryo Endurance (with clipped wing)  events.
