Howard Ike Peerless – 15.5 in wingspan

$4.00

Peerless published this plan in 1932 when Benny Howard’s little inline engined DGA 4 (Damned Good Airplane) Ike and Mike were popular in the smaller displacement Greve Trophy race.  It’s still one of the most accurate scale model plans of the Howard DGA-4 Ike ever done.
This is an advanced skill-level stick & tissue rubber powered flying scale model.  Move rear rubber peg up to just behind former 6 on fuselage side view and reinforce the Landing Gear attachment to the fuselage (see Tom Nallen Skiptown Tiger for example).  Fit removable noseblock/noseplug assembly and a modern 6 in plastic prop with 1 loop of 1/8 Tan rubber 15 inches long to start flight trimming.  This plan will scale up nicely for a larger model.

Qualifies to fly in FAC  Greve Trophy mass launch, FAC Scale and FAC Golden Age Monoplane  events.
